100 Years of Gitanjali

 On 19th  our school celebrated 150th anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore and 100th year of Gitanjali.
There was a formal inauguration by our school manager, Swami Vyomatheethananda. The school chairman delivered the welcome address.  The Principal, the Headmaster,the LP Headmistress, PTA president and the Staff Secretary felicitated the occasion.

There were different programs throughout the day. Students recited verses from Gitanjali. There was a slide show presentation about Tagore's  life. The LP school kids presented different programs. There was a film show about Tagore's life.

The highlight of the program was the recitals from Gitanjali by Sri. VK Sasidharan.

Students created banners, posters and manuscript magazines based on the theme.

IT CLUB INAUGURATED AT SRKGVMHSS

The IT Club of SRKGVMHSS, Puranattukara was inaugurated on 7th August, 2010 in the media room of the school,  with a strength of 65 student members. The teachers-in-charge, Sunitha Nair and Rakesh R, briefed on the aims and objectives of the Club. Later Arun Gopinath of S2A was elected as the Secretary of the Club and Sreekesh of  S1B was elected as the Joint Secretary. 8 executives members representing each class were also elected.  The program ended with the screening of a short film "What is That?"
